Indications:

Covered geographical areas for treatment:
It is capable of treating snakebite injured in every part of Iran (with the omission of Khorasan, Golestan, Mazandaran, Semnan, and Yazd provinces), adjacent countries as well as Iraqi, Azerbaijan, additionally Armenia, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.

Indications:
SnaFab 6®, a venom-neutralizing product that comes from horse plasma, is used to treat injured bitten by the succeeding snakes:

Indications:
ScoFab®, an anti-venom product made from horse plasma, is formulated to neutralize scorpion venom and cure victims bitten by the mentioned scorpions:
Androctonus crassicauda
Hottentotta saulcyi
Hottentotta schach
Odontobuthus doriae
Mesobuthus eupeus
Hemiscorpius lepturus
Covered geographical areas for treatment:
Can be injected for scorpion bite victims throughout Iran
Production Department Units in Padra Serum
Upstream Processes: At this stage, the hyperimmune plasma’s production will be carried out and includes the following steps:
1. Preparing horses and controlling their health
2. Preparation of snake and scorpion venom
3. Lyophilization of poisons and preparation of dry poison
4. Performing control tests on poisons including: toxicity determination, protein determination, SDS-PAGE test and HPLC test
5. Stock antigen preparation
6. Preparation of injected antigen
7. Antigen injection to horses
8. Blood sampling
9. Conducting control tests on plasma, including: measuring protein, sterility, evaluating the neutralizing power of plasma.
Downstream Processes: At this stage, plasma purification will be completed and includes the following steps:
1. pH adjustment
2. Digestion
3. Sedimentation
4. Microbial and viral filtration
5. Filling process
